About diff

diff is part of basenull labs — a series of focused, purpose-built tools for makers and prosumers. Most diff tools online are ad-laden, sign-up-walled, or visibly neglected. diff exists because pasting two configs into a clean, shareable viewer should be a 10-second task, not a 4-minute one.

We don't store free-tier text. The diff renders in your browser; the AI summary is a one-shot LLM call that we don't retain. If you want to save and share a diff, that's a Pro feature — it costs $2/mo and keeps the tool honest.
